Hello again friends! It's that time of year again where we need to come together and take care of some important Club business, as well as have a nice meal and conversation with each other.
Please join us on Tuesday, January 24th at the Venue Restaurant in southeast Lincoln for our 2023 Annual Business Meeting, Drinks, Dinner, and Guest Speaker. We hope you'll be able to make it out to support our guest speaker and support your Engineers Club of Lincoln!
This year's guest speaker will be Brittney Albin, Sustainability Coordinator for Lincoln Public Schools. Ms. Albin will speak to us about how LPS goes to great lengths to ensure they continue to be one of the most efficient, resourceful, and resilient partners in the Lincoln community.

We'll be presenting a Distinguished Member Award this year, as well as saying thank you to our outgoing president, and we'll be voting for and swearing in our next year's Executive Board Members. We'll also receive an update on our Club finances and our Scholarship Endowment with the University of Nebraska Foundation. And don't forget Good Life Bingo, which we'll be providing more information on!
The Social Hour and cash bar will begin around 5:15 pm, followed by dinner around 6:00ish pm. Brittney Albin will give her presentation after dinner, followed by our usual Club business to close out the evening.
We are very excited to be trying a new venue for this year's Annual Business Meeting and Dinner, and we are looking forward to a great turnout. We're going to try buffet-style meals this year, so please select your preferred entree so that the Venue can prepare adequate food for the evening. Salads, bread, and desserts will be offered as a part of the dinner buffet.
We hope to see so many faces at this year's meeting, so please don't wait to get signed up as we'll be closing the registration on January 17. More details will be sent at a later time explaining which room we'll be using at the restaurant.
